Remember when Hideo Kojima said he was done with Metal Gear Solid games after the fourth one? And then he made three more? Well, while this fourth one we’re hearing about might not be official yet, it’s still enough to put that whole “no more Metal Gear for Kojima” thing to rest.
“We are very much thinking about possibilities with the Wii U and it looks like a very fun system. As for whether we’ll have something at launch for the Wii – we can’t say that. Probably not, but we definitely have things in mind,” producer Yoshikazu Matsuhana tol Eurogamer. “We’re also looking at the public reaction. If there are enough people who say they want us to bring something to the Wii U that also factors into things.” Well, if people could get enough of the franchise, Kojima probably wouldn’t be stuck making the things for the remainder of his natural life. And since there was a Metal Gear for the N-Gage, not to mention the one in the works for the 360, we’re guessing they can squeeze one in their schedule for Nintendo’s new bundle of joy.
