HTC has launched a new version of their HTC J Butterfly in Japan, the new handset gets some major upgrades over the previous model.
The new HTC J Butterfly comes with an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and features a 5.2 inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The handset also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of included storage, there is also a microSD card slot for extra storage. There is also multiple cameras with a 13 megapixel camera up front for Selfies and a 20.2 megapixel Duo camera on the back which can record Ultra HD video in 4K.
Other specifications on the new HTC J Butterfly include a 2700 mAh battery, the handset also comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The HTC J Butterfly will launch with mobile carrier KDDI, as with the previous model we are expecting the handset to only be available in Japan, as yet there are no details on pricing.
