We have been hearing various rumors about the latest Google Nexus smartphones and now it looks like the new devices will be announced at a press event in San Francisco on the 29th of September.
There will be two new Google Nexus smartphones announced at the event, the LG Nexus 5 and the Huawei Nexus 6, these are two devices that we have been hearing a lot about recently.
We have already seen some leaked images and heard some specifications on the LG Nexus 5 and Huawei Nexus 6.
The Huawei Nexus 6 is rumored to come with either a 5.5 inch or 5.7 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The Nexus 6 is said to be powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and will either feature 3GB or 4GB of RAM, we are also expecting the device to feature high end cameras and the rear camera on the handset will probably come with at least 16 megapixels.
The LG Nexus 5 is rumored to feature a 5.2 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, this handset will apparently come with a hexa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of RAM.
The Nexus 5 will come with two storage options, which will include 16GB and 32GB and will probably feature a microSD card slot for expansion. The handset is also rumored to feature a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 12.4 megapixel rear camera, it will also feature a 2700 mAh battery and a USB Type-C connector.
Both of these new Google Nexus Smartphones will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, both handsets will feature a fingerprint scanner and they are expected to go on sale shortly after the event.
As yet there are no details on pricing, although we would expect the Nexus 6 to retail for around $500 and the Nexus 5 for around $300, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
