Flip has refreshed their range of pocket HD camcorders, with the launch of two new models, the new Flip Ultra HD and the new Flip Mino HD.
There are now two different sizes in the Ultra HD range, a 4GB model and an 8GB model, plus a 4GB Mino HD and an 8GB mino HD, and all the new models have had new sensors which give them the ability to record HD video in 720p at 60 frames per second, excluding the cheapest UltraHD which can do 30 frames per second.
“This is without question the best line of Flip Video cameras we’ve ever created,” said Jonathan Kaplan, senior vice president and general manager of Cisco Consumer Products. “The new line combines Flip’s signature simplicity and affordability with truly breakthrough video quality, unlimited personalization options, and an array of creative new accessories – all of which add up to more fun, and an even better video experience for our consumers.”
Price wise the 4GB Ultra HD is available for $149, the 8GB Ultra HD is available for $199, whilst the MiniHD models are a little more expesnive, $179 for the 4GB model and $229 for the 8GB model.
