During the Superbowl 2014 yesterday Marvel debuted the first full-length movie trailer for their new upcoming adventure, Captain America Winter Soldier.
Captain America The Winter Soldier as you might have already guessed is a sequel to the 2011 Captain America The First Avenger movie and stars Captain America played by Chris Evans.
The new full length Captain America The Winter Soldier provides a glimpses at Mackie’s Falcon and Stan’s Winter Soldier (aka James “Bucky” Barnes) as well as Robert Redford (who plays Alexander Pierce) and Nick Fury himself Samuel L. Jackson.
“Two years after the events of The Avengers, Steve Rogers resides peacefully in Washington, D.C., struggling to adapt to contemporary society. However, after a S.H.I.E.L.D. compatriot is assailed, Steve becomes entangled in a mystery that may endanger the globe.
Together with Natasha Romanoff, Captain America attempts to uncover the growing machination while fending off hired hit men. When the entire scheme is discovered, Captain America and the Black Widow must recruit the aid of the Falcon and soon encounter an unanticipated and powerful adversary — the Winter Soldier.”
New arrivals to the cast include Emily VanCamp (who plays Agent 13) and Frank Grillo (who plays Brock Rumlow / Crossbones) and returning stars Cobie Smulders and Hayley Atwell. Captain America The Winter Soldier will be arriving in theatres on April 4th 2014, seeing the first Avenger return to action.
