NEC is a big name in the commercial display business n the company has a new offering that is called the V651. This is a commercial grade screen with a panel that is rated to survive public display and has technology to prevent images from being burned in. The screen has integrated 10w speakers so you can get sound loud enough to be heard in a crowd.
The panel is a 1080p unit, and it has connectivity, including VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, HDMI and more. The screen supports NEC TileMatrix to allow it to be used in a video wall. The brightness is 400 lumens and contrast ratio is 5000:1. It has a 60Hz refresh rate and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The panel is available right now for $5,299.Filed Under: Technology News
