We have been hearing rumors about Motorola’s new Android One smartphone, the Motorola One, and now the handset has been benchmarked.
The Motorola One has appeared on GeekBench, and this has confirmed some of the specifications for the handset.

The device is listed on Geekbench with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB of RAM. The handset is also listed with Android 8.1 Oreo.
A previous TENAA listing for the handset revealed that the device would come with a 6.18-inch display with a FHD+ resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. The device will have a range of storage options, including 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB.
Camera Capabilities
Other specifications on the new Motorola One will include a 12-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and selfies, plus a 16-megapixel rear camera and a secondary 5-megapixel rear camera. The dual rear camera setup is expected to offer enhanced photo quality with features like portrait mode, which blurs the background to make the subject stand out. Additionally, the front-facing camera is likely to support facial recognition for added security.
Battery and Additional Features
The Motorola One is also rumored to come with a substantial battery life, possibly featuring a 5000mAh battery, which should provide ample power for a full day of usage. Fast charging capabilities are also expected, allowing users to quickly recharge their device and get back to their activities without long interruptions.
In terms of connectivity, the Motorola One is expected to support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and possibly NFC for contactless payments. The device will likely include a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, which is becoming the standard for modern smartphones.
The Motorola One will run on Android One, which means it will offer a pure Android experience with no bloatware and timely updates directly from Google. This is a significant advantage for users who prefer a clean and efficient user interface.
The design of the Motorola One is expected to be sleek and modern, with a glass back and metal frame. The device will likely come in various color options to cater to different tastes and preferences.
Overall, the Motorola One appears to be a promising addition to the Android One lineup, offering a good balance of performance, camera capabilities, and battery life. With its competitive specifications and the backing of Google’s Android One program, the Motorola One is set to be a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market.
