We have been hearing about the new Motorola Droid 3 quite a bit over the last few weeks, and now three different videos have been leaked which show the new Motorola Droid 3 in action.
In the three videos below we can see that the Droid 3 will feature an 8 megapixel camera, HDMI out and we also get a look at the five row slide out QWERTY keyboard, and a good look at the rest of the hardware.
Key Features of the Motorola Droid 3
The Motorola Droid 3 is shaping up to be a significant upgrade from its predecessors. The 8 megapixel camera is a notable improvement, promising higher quality photos and videos. This is particularly important for users who rely on their smartphones for capturing moments on the go. The inclusion of HDMI out is another exciting feature, allowing users to connect their device to larger screens for presentations, video playback, and more. This makes the Droid 3 not just a communication device but a versatile multimedia tool.
The five-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard is a standout feature, especially for those who prefer physical keyboards over touchscreens. This keyboard layout includes a dedicated number row, which is a rare find in modern smartphones. It caters to users who need to type extensively, such as professionals and students, providing a tactile typing experience that many find more efficient and satisfying than virtual keyboards.
Hardware and Performance
Beyond the camera and keyboard, the Droid 3’s hardware is impressive. While the exact specifications are yet to be confirmed, the videos suggest a robust build quality and a sleek design. The device appears to be slightly slimmer than its predecessors, making it more pocket-friendly without compromising on screen size or functionality.
The Droid 3 is expected to run on a dual-core processor, which would significantly enhance its performance. This means faster multitasking, smoother gaming experiences, and more efficient power usage. Coupled with what is likely to be a high-resolution display, the Droid 3 promises to deliver a visually pleasing and responsive user experience.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the potential for expanded storage. With many users now storing large amounts of data on their devices, from apps and games to photos and videos, having ample storage is crucial. The Droid 3 is expected to support microSD cards, allowing users to expand their storage capacity as needed.
We still don’t have an exact launch date for the Motorola Droid 3, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
