Over the weekend, we saw a leaked image of the upcoming Moto X+1 showing us the device with a leather back customization. The device is expected to go on sale on multiple US carriers when it launches.
Recently, the alleged Moto X+1 was spotted in Verizon’s system, showing the alleged device in simple and customized flavors with 16/32GB storage.
The screenshot below shows that the new Moto X will be available in black, white/bamboo and moto maker variants with different storage options. When Moto Maker went official last year, it was exclusive to one carrier for a few months, and it could be the case here as well — there’s a chance Verizon may score exclusivity on the new Moto X for some time. It’s not confirmed so a grain of salt is recommended.
The alleged Moto X+1 is said to come with a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.2GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB storage, a 13MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front facing camera and Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system.
Motorola has scheduled an event on September 4th in Chicago where the company is expected to announce a number of new devices. Stay tuned, we’ll update you as soon as it happens.
