Moto 360 is available for sale for a while now, but the smartwatch is only available with leather straps. However, it seems things are about to change starting today.
Motorola officially announced the availability of the Moto 360 with metal bands. Starting today, customers will be able to get the metal bands version of the smartwatch for $299, which is $50 higher than the leather strap version.
Starting today, Moto 360 with light and dark metal bands are available on motorola.com for $299. Coming soon, we will offer Moto 360 with new slim bands, which is an option for smaller wrists or for people who want a different look. Slim bands will be available in time for the holidays in light metal ($299) and a brand new champagne gold finish ($329).
The company also mentioned that slim bands will be available for people with smaller wrists. The light metal band will retail for $299, while the gold Moto 360 — which was spotted at Amazon a few days back — will come with a $329 price. As for availability, Motorola mentioned the Slim bands will be ready in time for the holiday season, so it shouldn’t take too much time.
For those of you who are already in possession of a Moto 360 can get interchangeable stone, black and cognac leather bands along with light and dark metal bands.
Furthermore, the Motorola Connect App will also get an update in the next few days, offering users with new watch faces, and more customization options for the watch faces.
Last but not the least, Motorola also introduced some new fitness-related features in the form of Moto Body, which will be available in the Motorola Connect app in the next few days.
