Over the past few weeks, we’ve heard quite a lot about the alleged OnePlus 2. Surprisingly, several details about the handset came from the company itself. In case you can’t recall, OnePlus used the same marketing technique last year by revealing a few features of the handset ahead of its launch.
According to a new rumor, OnePlus 2 will feature top-of-the-line specifications, except its display. The rumor suggest that the handset will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, which is a little disappointing considering the displays offered by flagship devices from other manufacturers.
The report continues to say that it will feature a 3300mAh battery a 16MP rear camera for photos and videos, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera.
Previously, the company officially revealed that OnePlus 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port. Furthermore, it will carry a price tag of less than $450.
The company is holding a press event on July 27th where it’s expected to take the wraps off the upcoming flagship killer. We’ll update you as soon as the handset is officially announced.
