Last week we heard some details on the HTC Android 5.0 update for a number of devices, the news came direct from HTC who said that the HTC One M8, One M7, One Mini and One Mini 2 would all be getting the Android 5.0 update.
HTC did not give any details on when the HTC Android 5.0 update would be available for various devices, and now it looks like we have some more information on when the updates will be released.
According to the guys from LlabTooFer, some of the updates will start in November and some of the updates will start early next year, you can see more details below.
HTC One (M8), HTC One (M7) are the first to get Android 5.0, timeframe for GPE is late November-December, for Sense based devices January-February.
HTC Desire EYE, HTC One (M8) Dual SIM, HTC One (M7) Dual SIM, HTC One (E8), HTC One (E8) Dual SIM, HTC Butterfly 2 should receive updates in January-March.
HTC One Mini 2, Desire 816 more likely to get updates in March-April
HTC One Max, HTC One Mini, HTC Butterfly S – March-May
Of course these dates have not been officially confirmed by HTC so this could possibly change at any time, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
