At CES 2019 in Las Vegas this week Mobvoi has launched two new smartwatches in the form of the TicWatch E2 and S2 both of which are capable of detecting different types of physical activity. For example, if you start cycling, the new smartwatches will automatically start tracking your ride statistics without any user input.
Mobvoi raised funds to develop and manufacturer their original smartwatches E and S thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2015 and has since received funding from Google in the tune of $60 million.
The names E2 and S2, being acronyms for Express and Sport respectively and both are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor the smartwatches are equipped with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and fitted with a rechargeable battery offering a capacity of 415mA.
