Anyone looking to track their fitness or sleep might be interested in a new fitness and sleep tracker called the Misfit Flash which is now available to pre-order for $49.
The new Misfit Flash builds on the technology that was used in the company’s original Misfit Shine activity monitor that was successfully launched last year.
The latest device is equipped with a large input button on the face of the device and the accumulation of motion and time is displayed by 12 red LEDs around the edge of the device.
As with the original fitness tracker the new Flash is fitted with the same motion tracking sensors and is waterproof down to 30m. As well as being capable of tracking sleep quality and displays data via the iOS companion application using Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Its creators explains :
“Get fit with Misfit Flash, a sleek, sporty tracker that measures your activity and sleep, syncs with your smartphone, and comes in a variety of colors. Press Flash to see a halo of lights that shows your progress toward your daily activity goal and tells time. Flash never requires charging and is made of rugged, yet ultra-comfortable soft touch materials.”
