If you use an Apple 8-pin Lightning cable to charge your iPhone or Apple tablets, you might be interested in a new cable holder called the MikroDok. Unlike some other iPhone dock that require your cable stays with your dock the MikroDok allows the cable to be easily removed when needed.
The MikroDok uses micro section adhesive foam to create a solid yet re-positionable bond with your desktop. Allowing you to keep your cable handy whilst at your desk but easily take it with you when required, without transporting the bulky dock with it.
The MikroDok perfectly aligns the male end of the cable with the Lightning port on your iPhone, making docking and undocking a breeze. Watch the video below to learn more about the new MikroDok and how it might make your life a little easier when charging your iPhone.
“The adhesive backing contains an array of microscopic craters that act like suction cups. This advanced material provides maximum adhesion strength while maintaining the ability to be moved hundreds of times without damaging the surface it’s stuck to. After several uses the backing will become dirty and gradually lose suction. Just rinse with water, air dry, and it will stick like new!
MikroDok can be used on any flat surface or wall. This includes plastics, metals, ceramics, wood, and glass. It’s great for your work space, by your nightstand, or in your favorite charging spot.”
The MikroDok project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think MikroDok is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help MikroDok become a reality.
