Photographers who are looking for something a little more innovative to both carry and protect their camera when not in use might be interested in the new Miggo patent pending camera strap that transforms into a stylish protective case.
Miggo has been designed by Ohad Cohen and has recently launched on Kickstarter looking to raise enough funds to make the jump from concept and into production. Check out the video after the jump to see how this innovative Miggo camera case and strap works.

The successful Kickstarter campaign only has three days left to run and has already raised three times its required funding goal making sure that it will be manufactured. Its creator explains :
“Turns out there’s been a boom in photography ever since smartphones began taking passable pictures. Why aren’t people using their cameras instead? Because they are uncomfortable and awkward, and they’d rather not bother.
As designers who worked for years developing and producing award-winning camera bags for some of the world’s top brands, we suddenly understood that things have changed right under our noses. This shift required new, more comfortable and intuitive solutions for carrying and protecting cameras.
Miggo is a padded camera strap or grip that carries your camera comfortably. Done shooting? Simply wrap miggo around your camera to get great protection without the need to carry bulky camera bag. Just slip miggo to your personal bag and off you go.”
So if you think Miggo is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help Miggo become a reality.
