The Microsoft (MSFT) Zune HD is finally here, and has gone on sale in the US today, other countries will have to wait for now, as there is no word on when we are likely to see the Zune HD for sale in the UK and the rest of Europe.
The Zune HD comes in a choice of two sizes 16GB and 32GB, and it features a 3.3 inch touchscreen OLED display with a resolution of 480 x 272.
Other specifications include built in WiFi, plus wireless sync, which lets you sync your music, videos and photos to your PC over WiFi.
The Microsoft Zune HD has support for a variety of video and music formats, and can play HD video in 720p on your HDTV by using the optional Zune HD Dock.
Micorosft has also rolled out an updated version of its Zune software, Zune 4.0 to coincide with the launch of the Zune HD.
The Zune HD is available now in the US, with the 16GB model retailing for $219.99 whilst the 32GB model is $289.99.
