Microsoft will soon end support for Windows XP, and now the company is trying to tempt users away from XP buy offering them incentives and gift cards.
According to a recent report, around 18 percent of computers are still running Microsoft’s Windows XP, and now Microsoft are offering $50 gift cards and 90 days of free support if you ditch Windows XP.
Microsoft is also offering to help with transferring your data from your Windows XP machine if you purchase a new Windows machine from the Microsoft store.
The $50 gift card applies to purchases of new Windows devices, including desktops from $700 to $1,300 and notebooks between $280 and $700.
