The highly anticipated arrival of the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility support on Microsoft’s latest generation Xbox One, will officially arrive on November 12th, 2015 within the new Xbox One Experience.
More details were announced about what you can expect in the Xbox One Experience earlier today together with demo videos and can be seen in our earlier post located here.
Although if you have been waiting to know which games will be available in the first titles, Phil Spencer has today tweeted that Microsoft will be announcing the first 100 backwards compatibility titles next week on November 9th 2015.
The backwards compatibility update unfortunately is not expected to allow retail Xbox 360 discs to play directly within the Xbox One console. But will be recognised and allow you to download and Xbox One friendly version of the purchase game to play on your next-generation console.
Also anything you have purchased digitally for your Xbox 360 console will also start dropping into your game library on your new Xbox One console. As more details are released by Microsoft over the next 10 days in the run-up to the rollout of the Xbox One Experience update will keep you in the loop as always.
