Kensington has this week unveiled a new professional docking station it has created for the Microsoft Surface Pro system at the Microsoft Inspire event currently underway. The SD7000 Dual 4K Surface Pro Docking Station reference K62917 will be available to purchase priced at $300 and comes with an optional locking module reference K62918 available to purchase separately priced at $30.
Kensington explains that the new Surface Pro dock has been created to provide users with the “ultimate docking solution for Surface Pro offers users best-in-class connectivity, performance, and design to support the desktop of the future”. The Surface Pro dock allows users to connect two 4K external monitors, a wired network, and synchronise their USB devices and includes an articulating hinge allows the Surface Pro to be comfortably positioned upright as a display or at a perfect drafting table angle. While a magnetic connection for a Surface Pen makes sure your stylus is always available when required.
