Yesterday, Microsoft announced its latest Surface tablet, the Microsoft Surface 2 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, and now they have released a couple of promo videos for these new devices.
The new Surface Pro 2 and Surface 2 tablets will come with Windows 8.1 and will launch next month. Have a look at the videos below.
Enhanced Features and Performance
The Microsoft Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 come with a host of new features and improvements over their predecessors. The Surface 2 is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM, which promises a significant boost in performance and efficiency. The Surface Pro 2, on the other hand, is equipped with Intel’s fourth-generation Core i5 processor, which is expected to deliver better battery life and enhanced graphics performance.
Both devices will run on Windows 8.1, which brings a range of new features and improvements, including a more refined user interface, better multitasking capabilities, and enhanced security features. The Surface Pro 2 also supports up to 8GB of RAM and offers storage options up to 512GB, making it a powerful device for professionals and power users.
Design and Usability
In terms of design, the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 retain the sleek and modern look of their predecessors but come with some notable improvements. The kickstand now offers two positions, making it more versatile and comfortable to use on different surfaces. The devices also come with a new range of accessories, including the Type Cover 2 and Touch Cover 2, which are thinner, lighter, and backlit for better usability in low-light conditions.
The Surface 2 features a 10.6-inch Full HD display, which offers vibrant colors and sharp details, making it ideal for media consumption and productivity tasks. The Surface Pro 2, with its higher resolution display, is perfect for creative professionals who need a high-quality screen for design and editing work.
We wonder if Microsoft will be able to sell more of the second-generation Surface tablets than they did the first-generation Surface tablets. Whether or not these devices will end up being popular remains to be seen.
