Microsoft is looking to get Android developers to port their applications Windows Phone 7, and they have released a ‘comprehensive package for Android developers’, which is designed to help the developers easily port their applications over to Windows Phone 7.
The package is made up of an Android for Windows Phone API mapping tool, and a Windows Phone 7 guide for Android developers, and Microsoft intends to expand these tools in the future.
Making it easier for developers to port applications from one platform to the other, should ensure that Microsoft gets more developers developing applications for its Windows Phone platform.
