The Verizon Lumia 735 was first spotted last year, although the handset has yet to launch and now it looks like it will land on the carrier later this month.
According to a recent report, the Microsoft Lumia 735 will land on Verizon Wireless next week on the 11th of June.
Specifications and Features
The handset features a 4.7 inch OLED HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, providing vibrant colors and deep blacks, which is ideal for media consumption and general use. The handset is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, ensuring smooth performance for everyday tasks and moderate multitasking.
Other specifications on the Lumia 735 include 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. While the internal storage might seem limited, the device includes a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB cards, allowing users to expand their storage significantly. This is particularly useful for those who need extra space for apps, photos, and videos.
The device comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, which is perfect for selfies and video calls. The rear camera is a 6.7-megapixel shooter, equipped with Carl Zeiss optics, ensuring high-quality photos even in low-light conditions. The camera capabilities make the Lumia 735 a good choice for photography enthusiasts who want a budget-friendly device.
Software and User Experience
The handset also comes with Windows Phone 8.1, which offers a unique user experience compared to other mobile operating systems. Windows Phone 8.1 features Live Tiles, which provide real-time updates directly on the home screen, making it easy to stay informed at a glance. The operating system is known for its smooth performance and integration with Microsoft services such as OneDrive, Office, and Skype.
One of the standout features of Windows Phone 8.1 is Cortana, Microsoft’s virtual assistant. Cortana can help with a variety of tasks, from setting reminders and sending texts to providing weather updates and answering questions. This adds a layer of convenience and functionality to the Lumia 735.
Additionally, the Lumia 735 supports wireless charging, which is a feature not commonly found in mid-range smartphones. This allows users to charge their device without the hassle of plugging in cables, simply by placing it on a compatible charging pad.
As soon as we get some confirmation of the exact launch date of the Microsoft Lumia 735 on Verizon, we will let you guys know.
