Microsoft has released a software update for the Microsoft Band and the update brings some new features to Microsoft fitness focused wearable.
The Microsoft Band update bring integration with cycling tracking applications MapMyRide and Strava and also more insights into data captured by the band.
Microsoft has also updated a number of its health apps and the new insights on the Microsoft Band update are now available to view on the Microsoft Health Dashboard,
One interesting new feature is the ability to compare you health data to other users who have a similar height and weight to yourself, giving you an idea of how you stack up against other users.
The data on other users in anonymous, so you wont have to worry about your private health data being shared with other users.
The company has also announced that they will be releasing new versions of the Microsoft Health app for Windows Phone, Android and Apple’s iOS.
