MakerBot has this week announced that early orders of their new MakerBot Replicator Z18 3D Printer have now started shipping and all orders will be sent out over the next couple of weeks.
The latest MakerBot Replicator Z18 3D Printer was first unveiled at the beginning of this year during CES and offers a massive build volume of 2,592 cubic inches or 30.5 length x 30.5 width x 45.7 height cm in size.
The MakerBot Replicator Z18 3D Printer is priced at $6,499 and thanks to its larger print area enables users to print multiple items at the same time. As well as offering a heated build chamber designed for printing large models while reducing curling to a m minimum.
As well as offering connectivity via USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi to help obtain a seamless production workflow, together with Fifth-generation 3D printer technology that “defines the new standard for ease of use, quality, and reliability” says MakerBot.
As well as announcing that their new MakerBot Replicator Z18 3D Printer is now shipping, MakerBot has also announced the availability of their new MakerBot Desktop 3.2 software which now comes with MakerBot Replicator Z18 support built-in.
“MakerBot Desktop 3.2, the latest version of our complete, free 3D printing solution for discovering, managing, and sharing your 3D prints, is now available for download. If you’re a MakerBot Replicator Z18 3D Printer user, you must download this new version of MakerBot Desktop.
