Charging multiple devices at once can sometimes be a cluttered affair with cables and devices taking up valuable desktop space. One solution is the new Magnecat wired and wireless charging station created by a team of developers based in Seattle. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the charging station which is capable of quickly charging up to 5 devices simultaneously.
Early bird pledges for the Magnecat are now available via Kickstarter from $75 or roughly £60, with worldwide shipping expected to commence in a few months time, sometime around August 2019. The Magnecat is available in 4 unique solid wood options and 4 anodised aluminium offerings.
Each system is equipped with 2 x Qi Charging Coils for fast wireless charging and bluetooth speakers for easy conferencing calls when required. “The all-in-one capabilities of Magnecat allows you to roam freely without the concern of plug in power for charging, music and conferencing.”
“From the beginning of development, the team focus driving Magnecat has been a high level of quality, durability and function. This is what sets Magnecat apart from all other chargers. We are always looking toward what’s next, including new materials, functionality and design. After hauling in 6’ usb cords to reach outlets, and awkwardly hunting for power sources, I decided to purchase my first battery storage bank. I was disappointed in the design of the units, the materials used, the lack of functions, and the storage claim vs. reality.”
