Ultimate Ears was in the business of making very nice earphones for a long time before Logitech purchased the company. Ultimate Ears makes all manner of products from the earphones well known musical artists wear during a concert to the consumer offerings like the new products I mentioned a few weeks back like the 500vi.
Most of the Ultimate Ears earphones that I have used have sounded good, and at the same time, they have tended to be quite expensive as well. Logitech has trotted out a new low-end set of Ultimate Ears earphones today called the Ultimate Ears 100. The best feature about them is the price of $19.99.
The 100 series comes in a number of colors with different images and patterns on the tip of each earphone. They all come with four different silicone ear cushion sizes for a more custom fit. The cable is 115cm long and they weigh 12g making them light for mobile use. The connector is 3.5mm allowing them to work with most every portable music device out there. The earphones will ship sometime this month.
