Yes, you read right: $1,000,000 per phone and there are only three of them. Each comes encrusted with a sapphire keypad, black diamonds, lots of gold, shiny metal and precious wood a few centuries old.
To be honest considering the price tag, the design itself isn’t worth getting excited about. But then again, vanity knows no boundaries. Luxury item makers Gresso want to target the high rollers who’ve got a sweet tooth for over the top bling with this baby.
Officially dubbed the “Luxor Las Vegas Jackpot” by its manufacturer, the phone was inspired by the hotel-casino of the same name and according to the Gresso website, the official specs are an 18 karat gold case, the earlier mentioned black sapphires for keys engraved with lasers, African Blackwood paneling at the back and the frontal design is studded with tiny-tiny diamonds.
To think all that precious material results in just 12mm of thickness. Talk about a marvel of engineering. If you’re among those salivating over this but don’t have the dough for it, there’s still hop. A $20,000 version sans precious stones is out in the market too—both variants hit stores this month.
