LG will officially announce their latest Android smartphone, the LG Optimus G2 or LG G2 at a press event in New York on the 7th of August. Earlier today we saw the invites for the event which teased the new G2, and now we have a video from LG.
The LG G2 will come with a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz, plus a 5.2 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Other rumored specifications on the LG Optimus G2 include a 13 megapixel camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and 3GB of RAM. As soon as we get some more information on the new LG G2 or LG Optimus G2 we will let you guys know.
