It looks like the LG Optimus Black will be available in the US shortly with mobile carriers Sprint and Virgin, according to the guys over at Pocket Now, although we don’t have an exact launch date as yet.
The LG Optimus Black has recently passed through the FCC in the US, which means it should be available shortly, and it looks like it will be available with Sprint, Virgin Mobile and possibly Alltel.

As a reminder the LG Optimus Black features a 4 inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, there is also a 1GHz processor, and a five megapixel camera on the back with an LED flash and a two megapixel camera on the front for video chat.
