Last month, LG started the Android 4.4 KitKat roll out in Korea for its flagship LG G2 handset, with the international variant expected to get the taste of it in the next “two months.”
Yesterday, LG Saudi Arabia even confirmed the LG G2 in the country will get the taste of Android 4.4 KitKat by the end of January. Now, we have another word from LG Italia which mentioned in response to a LG G2 owner that they have to wait until March for the update.
In an answer to a user on Facebook, LG Italia mentioned in clear words that the update should start rolling out in March. Well, we have to tentative dates now: end of January for Saudi Arabia and end of March for Italy.
In case you can’t remember, a LG representative mentioned in November that the update will make its way to devices by the end of quarter one, and all the news we’ve seen in the past few days points to somewhat a similar time frame.
Well, let’s hope the international unlocked variant will also get the update in the next few weeks, considering that its planned to begin in Saudi this month, with Italy in March. We’ll update you as soon as we get more information.
