LG has already released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the LG G4 in several global markets, including its home market.
If you’re based in Canada waiting for the update, there’s some good news to them. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now rolling out for the LG G4 in the country on several carriers.
Telus has already confirmed on their support page that LG G4 is now getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update starting today, while Rogers also put up on their support site that the update will start rolling out for the handset from February 3rd. There’s no word about the roll out of the update in other key markets, but we’ll definitely update you as soon as it starts rolling out.
The new Android 6.0 Marshmallow brings a handful of new features and improvements, including Google Now on Tap, as well as battery improvements thanks to Doze which puts the phone in sleep state when its at rest. Other notable features include a better privacy management by giving users the ability to manage the permissions granted to an app, and lots more.
