It comes with a round design similar to the Moto 360, and runs Android Wear as its operating system out of the box. The exact availability date and pricing are not known at the moment, but it’s likely that we’ll see the smartwatch by the end of this year.
AT&T said in a blog post,
AT&T today confirmed that it will be among the first wireless carriers to offer the brand new LG G Watch R with the world’s first full circle P-OLED display. Pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.
The smartwatch comes with a 1.3-inch P-OLED display, and comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz. There’s 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and comes with a 410 mAh battery. The smartwatch comes with interchangeable straps, and IP67 certification, making the smartwatch dust and water-resistant.
Users can get notifications on their smartphones when paired with devices — it’s compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or higher as their operating system.
The smartwatch is expected to hit retail in November, alongside the Google Play Store. There’s no word about the exact pricing from LG as well.
