If you are in the market for a new tablet/notebook you might be interested to know that the already announced Lenovo Miix 2 Windows 8.1 system which was unveiled at CES 2014 has this week launched within Europe and the US from $699.
The Lenovo Miix 2 is equipped with a 10 inch screen offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels offering nearly 180-degree viewing angles for the user to enjoy, and is powered by an Intel Atom Z3740 1.33GHz 2MB Processor supported by 2.0GB LPDDR3 1066 MHz RAM.
Offering a 128GB eMMC hard drive for storage and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity with a 2 Cell 25 Watt Hour Li-Polymer battery. Lenovo is also preparing to launch their slightly larger Lenovo Miix 2 11 inch tablet which will join the already available 8 inch model that launched in late 2013. Lenovo explains a little more about their new arrival.
“Instantly switch from tablet mode to laptop or stand mode with the detachable dock (included with all models), featuring the AccuType keyboard — designed for comfort and accuracy. The 2MP front camera and 5MP rear camera will help you enjoy web conferences or online video chats like you’re really there.
Your face is your password. The integrated webcam uses stored images of your face to allow you to login quickly and easily, and the program supports multiple users, allowing you to authorize access for the entire family.”
