LaserPecker Pro is a desktop laser engraver that is easy-to-use, store and maintain. Launched via Kickstarter this week the project has already raised over $100,000 with still 30 days remaining. Early bird pledges for the LaserPecker Pro are available from $249 or roughly £194 and thanks to its powerful laser the small machine is also capable of cutting through thin materials such as card, paper and plastic. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the plug and play desktop laser cutter which can offer over 10,000 hours of use.
“LaserPecker Pro is upgraded with an auto-adjusting support stand that sets up and focuses in seconds. All you have to do is put the engraving target on the spot. The built-in sensors of the stand will measure the distance between the laser generator and the target and automatically adjust the height to make sure the focal point is the correct distance from the surface of the object.”
“Before engraving, LaserPecker Pro will first show the planned trajectory of the pattern by projecting a guide laser on the target surface. Users can easily adjust the size, position, and the rotation angle of the pattern based on the preview trajectory. Once satisfied with the pattern, just press the button to burn it in!”
If all goes to plan worldwide shipping of the desktop laser cutter is expected to take place before 2020. Early bird backers can now take advantage of a 38% discount off the recommended retail price.
