Kodak has created a smartphone film scanner which uses a collapsible structure made from cardboard. Priced at $40 the Kodak mobile film scanner is expected to be made available in the coming months and provides an easy way to scan old negatives into a digital format.
The film negative scanning system and free companion application supports both iOS and Android devices and is compatible with 35mm black-and-white film negatives, colour film negatives, colour slide positives. ( Android 5.0 and up – iOS iPhone 6 and Up)
