In a similar fate to the Crysis 2 leaked game files last Friday, its now seems that a 41.4GB files has been leaked to Torrent sites containing Guerrilla Games’ upcoming first-person shooter Killzone 3 for the PlayStation 3, due to be released 25/02/2011.
The good news for Sony is that only hacked PS3 consoles will be able to play the game. The 41.4GB file contains the European version of game and a rumoured second non-3D version is doing the rounds at roughly half the size.
Killzone 3 is the fourth installment in the Killzone series, the first game in the series to be presented in 3D and the first to include motion controls using the PlayStation Move.
The new Killzone 3 game picks up immediately after the ending of Killzone 2 and follows the previous games’ main protagonist, Sev, a Special Forces operative fighting for the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance against the Helghast Empire.
