Mountain bikers looking for a way to control their seat position as well as their rear shock absorber may be interested in a new piece of kit developed by nSquare Technologies based in New York.
The Killswitch allows you to control your Dropper-Post and Rear Shock with one lever allowing you to enjoy a smoother and faster ride. Check out the demonstration video below to see the Killswitch control system in action.
nSquare explain more about its inspiration and design:
KILLSWITCH is here because we wanted to improve the flow of our ride so we can ride faster and smoother. As All-Mountain bikers, we realized that we were not fully utilizing the rear shock. Controlling the compression lever when switching between climbing and descending was inconvenient and sometimes (too) dangerous. Therefore, it slowed us down and hurt the flow of the ride.
KILLSWITCH combines the operation of the dropper post and the rear shock compression lever. Now you can intuitively control both with your dropper post lever. KILLSWITCH is mounted between the rear shock and dropper post. It intuitively controls the rear shock compression lever as you activate the dropper post while riding.
When climbing, raise your saddle and KILLSWITCH will move the compression lever into the locked/pedal mode. When descending, lower your saddle and KILLSWITCH will unlock your rear shock.
