If you have already been converted to using pods for your coffee or hot beverages, you may be interested in a new pod cocktail machine created by Keurig. Keurig and Anheuser-Busch Have combined forces to create a new cocktail machine called Drinkworks which offers plants for alcoholic beverages taking single pod savings and transforming them into cocktails in three sizes: 3.9 ounces, 6.5 ounces, and 8.1 ounces.
As with any smart machine made these days the Drinkworks cocktail machine comes complete with its own smartphone companion application which allows you to connect and tweak the settings of the machine via Bluetooth, as well as order extra pods and troubleshoot if necessary. An iOS application is already available and an Android app is currently in the final stages of development.
The cocktail machine also includes a touchscreen interface allowing you to create your perfect cocktail without the need of a smartphone. The Drinkworks is priced at $299 and cocktail pods cost from $3.99 or $15.99 for four. At launch 15 cocktails will be available app launch including Moscow mule, margarita, mojito, and Long Island iced tea with more presumably being added over time.
