We are only on the third beta of iOS 11.3, so the news that Apple may release the iOS 11.3 software update next week comes as a bit of a surprise.
Apple normally releases at least five betas of iOS before the final version of the software is released, we were not expecting the update to land until later on in March.
The rumor that the iOS 11.3 software update is coming next week comes from accessory maker Shure who are having issues with their mics for iPhones on the current iOS release. The company mentioned on Twitter that this will be fixed when Apple releases their next version of iOS. The tweet has since been deleted.
This is an issue that Apple introduced with the release of the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Fortunately, iOS 11.3, due out next week, resolves it. You can download the public beta now.
