As well as all the other goodies rolled out by Apple over the last 24 hours a new update to its iPhoto application for Mac has now enabled support for Apple’s new iOS 5 iCloud storage and Photostream features.
The new update brings compatibility with iCloud and iOS 5 together with a minor stability, performance and compatibility issues. New features within iPhoto 9.2 now include: left and right swipe gestures can now be used to navigate between photos in Magnify (1-up) view, previously imported photos are now displayed in a separate section of the Import window.
Also book/calendar themes and card categories can now be selected using a pop-up menu in the carousel view. Issues that could cause some pages of books to print incorrectly have now been corrected together with issues when rebuilding a library now correctly preserves saved slideshows and books.
Its a 367MB download ad requires OS X Lion.
