The iPhone 6S does not have Optical Image Stabilization it is only available on the 6S Plus and now it looks like Apple’s new iPhone 7 will come with OIS.
We previously heard that the cameras on this years iPhone would be getting some upgrades and one of the upgrades for the 4.7 inch iPhone 7 is Optical Image Stabilization.
The iPhone 7 will apparently feature a 12 megapixel camera and the 7 Plus will apparently come with dual 12 megapixel cameras.
Both handsets will come with a number of other upgrades, these will include the new Apple A10 processor and 3GB of RAM.
The design of the devices will be similar to that of the 6S and 6S Plus although there will be some changes. The antenna lines will be moved to the top of the handsets and Apple will remove the 3.5mm audio jack, instead they will use the Lightning port for audio.
The handsets are also rumored to come with higher resolution displays, although the exact resolution of each device is not know as yet. Apple are expected to make their new iPhones official in September and rumors suggest that they will go on sale on the 16th of September.
