We have been hearing various rumors that the iPhone 6 release date will be the 19th of September, and yesterday there were rumors that they device may launch in China on the 25th of September.
Last year Apple made their iPhone 5S official on the 10th of September, the handset went on sale 10 days later on Friday the 20th of September, and they are expected to follow a similar pattern this year.
According to MacRumors, Apple plans to make the iPhone 6 official early in September, and going on previous dates, we reckon Apple will make the handset official on Tuesday the 9th of September, of course this is assuming that the release date for the handset is the 19th of September.
Apple usually makes their iPhone 6 available to pre-order for a week to 10 days before it hits the stores, so announcing the handset on the 9th of September, would give them enough time to sell pre-orders of the handset before its release on the 19th of September.
We are expecting two versions of the iPhone 6 in September, one with a 4.7 inch display, the other with a 5.5 inch display, both models with come with iOS 8. We are also expecting the new Apple iWatch to launch in September, the company is rumored to also launch two version of the iWatch, a fitness version and a designer version.
As soon as we get some more details on exactly when the new iPhone 6 will launch, we will let you guys know.
