We previously heard that the iPhone 5S release date would be June, but now according to a recent report by iMore, the iPhone 5 release date will be August, and the handset will share the same design as the existing iPhone 5.
This is something Apple has done in the past with the release of the 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4 and 4S, both devices shared the same design, although the S versions had updated processors and other specifications.
According to the report, the iPhone 5S will feature a much better camera than the one in the current iPhone 5, we can also expect a faster processor and more RAM, but the outside of the handset will look the same as the iPhone 5.
Last year Apple release the iPhone 5 in September, the previous year the iPhone 4S was released in October, prior to that Apple released the iPhone in the summer, with the he original iPhone which was released in June of 207, the iPhone 3G in July of 2008, the iPhone 3GS on June of 2009 and the iPhone 4 in June of 2010.
Apple have yet to confirm any details about the iPhone 5S and we suspect we will not get any official details until closer to the iPhone 5S release date of August.
