Yesterday Apple announced their 5th generation iPhone, the iPhone 4S, which will go on sale in the UK on the 14th of October, and you will be able to purchase the iPhone 4S direct from Apple and also from a range of mobile carriers here in the UK.
Apple has revealed on their website that the 16GB iPhone 4S will retail for £499, there are no details on their site about the 32GB and 64GB models, although we just spoke to Apple and they confirmed the UK pricing for the iPhone 4S for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models.

The iPhone 4S pricing starts at £499 for the 16GB model, the 32GB model will retail for £599, whilst the 64GB model will retail for £699, and these prices are for the SIM free iPhone 4S without a contract direct from Apple.
The 64GB model will be the version that everyone wants, although at close to £700 could it be too expensive, we suspect that many people will op to purchase the iPhone 4S direct from the mobile carriers at a subsidized rate when they sign up for a new contract.
The iPhone 4S will be available in the UK from the 14th of October direct from Apple, and you will be avaialble to pre-order it from this Friday the 7th of October.
We have reached out all all the mobile carriers here in the UK, and will let you guys know how much the iPhone 4S will retail for on the various mobile contracts with the carriers.
