Earlier we saw a video of the Galaxy S20 Ultra vs the iPhone 11 Pro Max and now we have another video, this time it is the iPhone 11 vs Samsung Galaxy S20.
This new video from Mrwhostheboss gives us a look at the new Galaxy S20 up against Apple’s iPhone 11, let’s see how the two handsets compare.
Design and Build Quality
As we can see from the video, both handsets are designed to be the entry-level versions of Apple’s iPhone 11 range and Samsung’s S20 range. The iPhone 11 features a sleek aluminum and glass design, available in a variety of vibrant colors, which appeals to a broad audience. On the other hand, the Galaxy S20 boasts a more modern look with its slim profile and curved edges, giving it a premium feel. The S20 also comes in several color options, but with a more subdued palette compared to the iPhone 11.
Specifications and Performance
Although the Samsung device does have the latest specifications, it’s important to delve deeper into what each phone offers. The iPhone 11 is powered by Apple’s A13 Bionic chip, which is known for its efficiency and powerful performance. This chip ensures smooth operation, whether you’re multitasking, gaming, or using augmented reality apps. The Galaxy S20, on the other hand, is equipped with the Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865 processor, depending on the region. Both processors are top-of-the-line and provide excellent performance, making the S20 a powerhouse for any task.
In terms of memory, the iPhone 11 comes with 4GB of RAM, while the Galaxy S20 offers a more generous 8GB of RAM. This difference means that the S20 can handle more applications running simultaneously without slowing down. Storage options also vary, with the iPhone 11 starting at 64GB and the Galaxy S20 starting at 128GB, both expandable via microSD card up to 1TB.
Camera Capabilities
Camera performance is a crucial factor for many users when choosing a smartphone. The iPhone 11 features a dual-camera system with a 12MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide lens, allowing for versatile photography options. It also includes Night Mode, which significantly improves low-light photography. The Galaxy S20, however, steps up the game with a triple-camera setup, including a 12MP wide, 64MP telephoto, and 12MP ultra-wide lens. This setup not only provides more flexibility but also offers higher resolution images and up to 30x digital zoom.
Battery Life and Other Features
Battery life is another area where these phones differ. The iPhone 11 has a 3110mAh battery, which provides all-day battery life under normal usage. The Galaxy S20, with its 4000mAh battery, offers a bit more longevity, especially with its adaptive power-saving features. Both phones support fast charging and wireless charging, but the S20 also includes reverse wireless charging, allowing you to charge other devices using your phone.
Software and Ecosystem
When it comes to software, the iPhone 11 runs on iOS, known for its smooth user experience and seamless integration with other Apple products. The Galaxy S20 runs on Android with Samsung’s One UI, which is highly customizable and offers a range of features not found on iOS. The choice between these two often comes down to personal preference and which ecosystem you are more invested in.
