We have heard various rumors about the new iPad Pro over the last few months, the device is expected to launch in September along with the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones.
The iPad Pro is rumored to come with a 12.9 inch display that will apparently feature a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels.
Apple’s new larger tablet is rumored to be powered by a new Apple A9X processor, this will be a more powerful version of the Apple A9 that will launch in the new iPhone 6S handsets and it is expected to come with at least 2GB of RAM, possibly 3GB.
The new iPad Pro will make use of Apple’s new split screen multitasking that will launch with iOS 9, iOS 9 is also expected to land in September along with Apple’s new larger tablet and new iPhones.
The design of the new 12.9 inch iPad is expected to be very similar to the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3, Apple are also expected to offer this new tablet in the same colors as the existing ones, which is space gray, silver and gold.
We are also expecting the new iPad Pro to come with Apple’s TouchID fingerprint sensor, the new iPhones are said to be getting an improved fingerprint sensor and this is also expected to be used in the new iPad.
The device is expected to come with a choice of storage options, probably up to 128GB, although it is possible that this new tablet could be Apple’s first iPad with 256GB of storage. We would also expect it to come with similar cameras to the iPad Air 2.
There have been rumors about the new larger iPad for some time, but with references to it discovered in iOS 9 with the larger keyboard, it looks like the device will launch in September along with iOS 9 and the new iPhones.
