We recently saw some photos of an iPad Air 2 dummy unit, and now the device is compared on video next to the existing iPad Air tablet.
The video was put together by TLDToday, and it compares the design differences between the new iPad Air 2 and the first generation iPad Air.
The iPad Air 2 is expected to come with an Apple TouchID fingerprint sensor, this will be a new sensor than the one found in the iPhone 6 that is said to be more durable and accurate.
The new iPad Air tablet is also expected to get a number of other updates, which will include Apple’s second generation 64-bit mobile processor, the Apple A8.
Other rumored updates on the new iPad Air 2 include the cameras, the front camera is said to be a 5 megapixel version, and the rear camera is said to be an 8 megapixel camera.
It is not clear as yet on which camera the iPad Air 2 will get, it could possibly be the 8 megapixel camera from the iPhone 5S, or it could be the new updated camera from the iPhone 6 which is also said to be an 8 megapixel model, that will come with Electronic Image Stabilization.
As yet there are no details on when the iPad Air 2 will launch, it could possibly appear in September along with the new iPhone 6 and Apple iWatch.
