InfoSonics has this week added a new addition to their range of Android tablets, in the form of the newly launched VeryKool KolorPad tablet, which has been created and marketed as an entry level device priced at just $150.
The new VeryKool KolorPad tablet is equipped with a 7 inch screen offering a low resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and comes running Google’s Android Jelly Bean 4.2.
The InfoSonics KolorPad tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor with VGA front facing camera for video calling, together with a 3 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs.
Other features of the new VeryKool KolorPad tablet include Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, FM radio, 2,500 mAh battery and Wi-Fi. As well as GPS, gravity sensor, and turn by turn navigation and WAP, SMS and MMS e-mail (POP3, IMAP), plus push e-mail. Together with support for 3G for the 850/1900MHz bands, and 2G speeds for GSM bands 850/900/1800/1900MHz. Joseph Ram, the company’s president and chief executive officer explained in todays press release:
“We are thrilled to release our T742 KolorPad tablet, which will unlock a multitude of possibilities for users at an incredibly affordable price,”-“The T742 is a compact tablet featuring a 7-inch capacitive LCD touchscreen, up to 32 GBs of external storage, USB tethering and Bluetooth 4.0.
Whether you primarily use your tablet for reading eBooks and browsing the internet, or playing games and checking e-mail, the T742 has the capacity to accommodate most every need. The tablet also supports HID (Human Interface Device) of the Bluetooth profile, so it can connect to a keyboard, mouse and even game joysticks through a USB on-the-go interface.
As an added value, each tablet is packaged with a stereo headset, data cable, travel adapter, USB on-the-go cable and case.”
