Ignite Handcrafted Automatic Revival Watch

A new watch has been launched via Kickstarter this week in the form of the Ignite, which takes the form of a handcrafted automatic revival watch which has been constructed from both wood and steel.

Watch the promotional video below to learn more about the unique wooden and steel timepiece which is being handcrafted with precision to provide a unique wearable that is available to back with prices starting from CA$269 and shipping expected to take place during April 2017.

The creators of Ignite explain a little about its design and inspiration :

Time is precious and we have designed luxury time pieces with quality materials at an affordable price in order to do a greater good. Unsafe water kills more people every year than all forms of violence, including war…But it doesn’t have to.
We can make a change. Revival by Martin & Co. is driven to make this happen. We have handcrafted a watch with sustainable materials to promote ongoing mindfulness and clarity…along with a sexy, modern feel.

Ignite Handcrafted Automatic Revival

With your contribution, “Kickstarters” our goal is to raise $45, 000 to get our first line into production in order to start our ultimate goal…to build fresh drinking water wells in Kenya, Africa thus saving thousands of lives. This $45,000 covers the price for the materials and manufacturing costs to make our watches. Our first collection, ‘Geared for Change’ will consist of two mens ‘Ignite’ watches with four different genuine Italian leather band options. This first line will allow us to properly test the market and then we plan to start raising as much money as possible to build multiple drinking water wells in Africa. As per the rules of Kickstarter,  the funds raised via this Kickstarter campaign will not be donated to charity. All of the money we donate to our partners at “WaterAid Canada” will come directly out of our profits after the campaign has ended.
